Why the name Epicenter?


An epicenter is a "focal point, as of activity."  It describes where an earthquake began or the start of something significant. 

We believe Only Jesus is the epicenter to a truly happy life.

Our Mission and Vision Statements are simple, short, and sweet:

Our mission is to invite others to experience Only Jesus as the epicenter to a changed and happy life.

Our vision is to see Jesus change lives.

We love to pray all the time and for everything.  "Prayer is the primary work of God's people." (The Alliance website).  Our motivation to pray is to have intimacy with Him.  Matt. 9:29; Acts 9:40; James 5:14-16; Eph. 6:18


"We Believe in Extravagant Grace!"


We desire to show extravagant grace with each other.  When we say, "Come as you are," we mean it!  Rom. 12:10; Matt. 5:44; 6:12


"Jesus Changes Lives!"


Jesus changes our lives to reflect more of Him and to help us experience God's best for us and for others.  We are commited to being loving disciples of Jesus.  Eph. 4:11-16; Matt. 4:19-20; Luke 9:23; John 8:31-32

We care about children and youth and are comitted to helping single parents and neglected children.  Mark 10:14; Acts 2:17; 1 Tim. 4:12
